Merced area high school students improve on exit exam

Merced Chiropractor Union High School District officials released preliminary results from the 10th-grade high school exit exam, revealing a 4 percent increase in the passing rate compared with the previous year. The results, though, are still far from the district’s goal of having 90 percent of 10th-graders pass the California High School Exit Exam, said district officials at their Wednesday board meeting.
